Visit a family run hopper boutique on the street side of a quaint village. Lit up with twinkling lights and boosted with the sounds of popular local music, it’s the place for a true Sri Lankan Hopper experience. Delicious pan hoppers both plain with spicy onion sambol and delicious egg hoppers await those who wish to taste this local delicacy, made to a traditional recipe by a cheerful village lady, ably assisted by her family. You can try making few hoppers yourself, though it’s not as easy as it looks! Finish the meal with a cup of plain tea and jaggery before the customary photo-shoot with the family.
