Overview
Mount Lavinia is the southern point of the City seascape. A Beachside enclave, where the view at night is like a fairyland of lights. The area is noted for its wonderful beachside Restaurants and cafes.

‘Mount Lodge’ is a few minutes walk from the beach and close to transport and shops. ‘Mount Lodge’ was designed by one of Sri Lanka’s leading Architects who induces an instant transformation in your mood, through the use of light, air and space.

The three-storey building offers four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, living room and garden. You may recognise a touch of the Raj.

Accommodation

The First Level-The sitting and dining rooms are tastefully appointed, and create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
The walls are decorated with paintings and historic photographs, depicting Sri Lanka’s ancient culture and also allowing you a glimpse of times past. An outdoor garden fastidiously maintained by your hosts, provides a glorious backdrop, day and night.

Sink into your comfortable couch and allow your hosts to serve you an ice-cold tropical drink before dinner. The indoor garden reaches up to the sky and becomes nature’s waterfall when raining.

The Second Level-This second level is ideal for a family or friends travelling together. The main outdoor courtyard provides privacy to read a book or just to sun bathe.
Surrounded by a great variety of potted plants, it is also the place to sit at your outdoor garden setting and enjoy a pot of tea.

The large sitting room is perfect for entertaining or just enjoying some music. The bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed, each having their own bathroom.

The Third Level-The third level we call the ‘honeymoon’ suite, offcourse not confined to the first time around. The privacy, the light, the breeze, the space, all these combine to make for a memorable stay.
From the comfortable four-poster king-size bed, to the large sitting room, you will find this suite the perfect hide-a-way after a days shopping in Colombo, or a hard day of lying on the beach.
