Our resort runs on combined solar power and helps to reduce the CO2 footprint of your holiday. Together with the local church we support early childhood development for under privileged children nearby.
Our guest can choose from round or rectangular type bungalows. All five bungalows are equal in size with a 50m2 indoor area and a master bedroom and large chill out veranda overlooking the picturesque Kappalady lagoon.
They all have an attic bedroom and a spacious outdoor shower area. Each bungalow can comfortably accommodate one family with 2 children or 3 adults
Watersports at Elements Resort-Kalpitiya
Kiteboarding - rental (Faith-Kites) and licenced IKO instruction. Kappalady / Sri Lanka a new kiteboarding destination! Recently discovered, it has quickly become trendy spot in the kite scene. Famous for its safe flat water lagoon, very consistent winds and warm water. May - September with very strong south westerly winds and a nice off shore reef break. Main kite sizes: 5-9m kites.
December - March with lighter northerly winds in the afternoons. Main kite sizes: 9-14m kites. During this season the sea is beautiful and clear!
We provide professional kiteboarding instruction according IKO standards as well as rental of Faith-Kiteboarding equipment.
Kite safaris at Elements Resort-Kalpitiya
We organize kitesafaris on boat and 4WD to discover the wide beaches, numerous lagoons and sandbanks, stretching over an area of 50 kilometers from our resort.
Boat excursions, dolphin cruises & snorkelling trips (December - March)
Dolphin Watching at Elements Resort-Kalpitiya
From November until end of March large numbers of dolphins and occasionally whales pass our coastline. With a bit of luck these amazing sea mammals can be observed while migrating to their mating and birth grounds in the shallow warm waters of the Golf of Mannar.
In the mornings at 06:30 our boat will leave for a two hours spotting ride.

The lagoon systems of Kappalady and Kalpitiya are home for a wide variety of indigenous birds and reptiles. You can explore it on a stand up paddle board which is available for rent at our Watersports Center.
If you are an animal and nature lover, you should plan a safari to the Wilpattu National Park which is located at about 2 hours from the resort. It is the park with the highest population of leopards in Sri Lanka. Overnight excursions can be arranged on demand.
