Oveview
Ruwala Resort is a fusion of a rustic eco-retreat and adventure-park on the banks of the scenic Puttlam lagoon, located in the unexplored north-west coast of Sri Lanka, making it an unforgettable holiday getaway - especially for the adventurous and nature-loving visitor.

Accommodation

Chalets
Two chalets are available for guests, each consisting of two en-suite double-bedrooms with en-suite toilets. The rooms open out onto a private verandah that affords a panoramic view of the lagoon. Each independent chalet bedroom could accommodate a maximum of four packs and is furnished to include a built-in luxury king-sized bed, draped with soft, crisp white linen and fitted with a mosquito-net, a mini-bar and fans. The spacious rooms are fitted with aluminum-framed, glass sliding-doors which open to let in the ever-present breeze. The toilets each contain a bath and a shower that affords a spectacular vista of the Lagoon.
A special feature of each chalet is the magnificent view of the sunrise from the comfort of your own bed – a great way to start the day.

Cabanas
The two cozy cabanas, built on stilts in the shallows and surrounded by reeds, have semi-open roofs, the ceilings of which are woven Palmyrah mats. Each cabana contains a comfortable and tastefully furnished bedroom and en-suite toilet, with a private balcony overlooking the marshes and the dense growth of Mangroves that provide a haven for endemic, indigenous and migratory birds as well. The partially open roof allows the refreshing breeze off the waters of the lagoon to cool the interior and also provides a window to the night-sky and the constellations above.

• ‘Ambalama’ an eco hut on the bank of the lagoon where one can relax and strech out or have meals on 'Banku kota' or Theppama enjoying the panoramic view of the lagoon

• Out door activities including a climbing wall (Supervised by trained and internationally certified instructors)
• Trust walk, spider web etc for conducting Team Building/ leadership  programmes
• Motor Boat and Kayaks with life jackets etc.
