Overview
Is a romantic pied-a'-terre in the fort.  Galle is a listed world heritage site. It is  magical and intriguing how you only hear the sound of the Indian Ocean and feel its cool breeze through-out the beautiful appointed rooms.

Its ancient stone floors and superb antiques create and enchanting and dream like ambience reminisce Moorish citadel.

Location : Galle Fort
The 300 year old Fort is a World Heritage Site and is undergoing something of a renaissance. Located approx. 117 km's from Colombo, the Fort was built by the Dutch in the 1600s and a lot of the architecture remains. It is quiet and easy going with a pace seemingly even more relaxed than the rest of the island. True to its reputation as the home of jewellery design in Sri Lanka the Fort and the surrounding town is full of jewellery shops. Galle is also, and to some more so, famous for its international cricket pitch. Watching a game from the top of the 300 years old Fort ramparts is to be able to enjoy cricket like you never thought possible. A short journey by three wheeler takes you to beautiful beaches including 'one of the most beautiful in the world' at Unawatuna.

Number of Bedrooms
Two double rooms. One large double room and one small double bedroom. This Villa is ideally suited for a couple as we generally give out the whole Villa only.

Bathrooms
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Dining
Two dining tables to choose from. One inside for formal dining and one under the stars for Al Fresco dining.

Sitting Area
A large and open room houses the main sitting area with comfortable sofas. In addition there are deep loungy chairs placed at all levels for a quick snooze

The roof terrace offers a magnificent view over the Dutch Fort and spectacular evening scenes as the sun slides in to the Indian Ocean

Kitchen / Staff
A modern quaint kitchen. The staff includes one Houseboy, who could prepare your breakfast or you would have to take the lead in the Kitchen. He will help with all cooking as well as go marketing for you if you wish so.

Meals
Whilst breakfast is provided, all other meals would be on your account. You could either provide the Houseboy with sufficient cash and instructions and he would fetch them from the market for you or you could go daily to the market yourselves. There are supermarkets in town as well as the "Village Shop" around the corner.

There are also a number of hotels and restaurants at walking distance if you wish to dine out.
