Set on a hilltop only 3 km from the city of Gampola overlooking the Ambuluwawa and lake surrounded by tea plantations and with magnificent views, Sama Uyana is a Tourist Inn which is an ideal stop en route to the hill country towns of Nuwara Eliya and Hatton.
The location is just half an hour from the hill capital Kandy and about 4 hours drive from Colombo. The surrounded area is filled with rural village life, rustling trees, and sounds of birdcall and blessed with magnificent hill-country views.
