The bungalow is a colonial building built in 1925. it nestles in the hills of Pantiya rubber estates.
Originally built by an English planter, Sir Vincent Whitelaw, this bungalow has been fully refurbished, retaining its old world charm. only one booking at a time is taken to ensure guests have the entire bungalow to themselves. its comfortable and spacious bedrooms, extensive gardens with a swimming pool, magnificent views, interesting location near the south coast and the mild climate all combine to make Pantiya Estate an inviting property for families or friends.
Two large bedrooms in the main bungalow have attached bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. the bedrooms are comfortably furnished with twin or double beds. the bathrooms have showers, bath tub, wash basin, and w/c. air-conditioning is fitted in every room. fans are also available on request.
The three rooms facing the pool are double bed rooms with ensuite facilities, a double bed, shower and w/c. They share a verandah overlooking the garden and pool.

Connected to the living room, is our large dining room with a 12-seater table. Meals are served here in either seated or buffet style.
Both Western dishes and Sri Lankan rice and curry are served at Pantiya Estate.
You can discuss your choice of menu with the in-house cook who will prepare delicious meals using fresh vegetables purchased daily from the local market.
