The rustic stone wall Bungalow is situated at 3,000 ft above sea level in the cool hills of Rakwana surrounded by the Sinharaja rain forest.
The bungalow was built during the British Raj by a English Tea Planter by the name James T. Allan in 1925. It has now been fully refurbished retaining its old world charm. It has five spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms with hot and cold water, two of which have fire places. A total of 14 guests can be accommodated. The large lounge overlooking the famous Buluthota Pass, is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the quiet and tranquility of the area.
During the day take a plunge in the swimming pool, which is filled by the natural springs of the Sinharaja rain forest.
