We are pleased to introduce AMBALAMA an Leisure Activity Center/Hotel designed to provide the much-needed break to the weary traveler from a long and arduous journey.
The proposed
Ambalama Leisure Activity Center in Awissawella is a 40 minute drive from Colombo passing Hanwella. Once in operation Ambalama Leisure Center will boast 20 AC Cabanas, 10 Jungle Chalets and 3 Family Cottages in its spacious landscaped compound facing Colombo-Hanwella Road.
Ambalama Leisure Activity Center is planned with 2 restaurants one open air and another air conditioned fine dining restaurant which serves gourmet meals from any continent. The proposed Bar is a place for the Chill-out with any local and international spirits.
Ambalama Leisure Activity Center provides for overnight and weekend stay in its eco friendly cottages built among lush green vegetation built on the Lilly ponds. The village type cottages resembles the traditional Sri Lankan architecture.
Amabalama Leisure Activity Center also facilitates outdoor functions such as Birthday parties, company Events and and Wedding receptions.

Ambalama Leisure Activity Center is located within 40 minutes drive from Colombo along a main high way The Colombo – Ratnapura road. The concept of Ambalama Leisure Center is to have an Eco-friendly location within an hours drive from Colombo suburbs, catering to both Sri Lankan and overseas guests. While Ratnapura is known for its Gems, This road is also an alternate route to Nuwara Eliya, the main city in the central highlands that produces the best Sri Lankan Tea.
Once in operation the Ambalama Leisure Activity Center will have kiddies area with kids amenities, Secure fenced play area with trained staff in attendance to take care of the children while you enjoy your way.
